To use the search facility simply enter the text you want to find into the
box labelled 'Your search term' then select the Search button.
You can enter a single word, a phrase, or combinations of words and phrases.
You do not need to use quotation marks (") to signify a phrase.
To search for a specific phrase you need to use parenthesees around the phrase e.g. (Medway and Council).
To search for multiple words or phrases, enter your first word or phrase, then
select one of the advanced choices listed. These are explained below.

Choose this if you want to find ALL the terms in your query. For example,
you may search for "black" and "white" where they BOTH appear anywhere on
the same page.
Example: (black) AND (white)

Choose this if you want to find at least one of the terms in your query. For
example, you may search for "black" OR "white", where EITHER or BOTH of them
appear on a page.
Example: (black) OR (white)

Choose this to find one of the terms in your query but NOT the other. For
example, you may search for "black" but NOT "white, where "black" appears
anywhere on the page, but "white" does not appear on the same page.
Example: (black) NOT (white)

Choose this to find BOTH the terms in your query, within a paragraph of each
other. For example, you may search for "black" AND "white" where they occur
on the same page, no further apart than in adjacent paragraphs.
Example: (black) AND (white) \\

Choose this to find BOTH the terms in your query, in the SAME paragraph as
each other. For example, you may search for "black" AND "white" where they
occur in the same paragraph, on the same page.
Example: (black) AND (white) //

Choose this to find BOTH the terms in your query, within 10 words of each
other. For example, you may search for "black" AND "white", where they occur
on the same page, no further apart than 10 words.
Example: (black) AND (white) /10/

Choose this to find BOTH the terms in your query, where the second term appears
anywhere after the first. For example, you may search for "white" where it
occurs anywhere on a page, as long as it is after "black".
Example: (black) AND (white) ...
