Volunteering

Volunteering is a great opportunity to:

  • meet new people;
  • learn new skills;
  • support the local community;
  • gain experience;
  • move into full time employment; and
  • have fun.

Through volunteering, people are able to gain in confidence and help to improve the quality of life for people in Medway. There are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available in Medway, from working with older people, children and young people, to engaging in sporting and leisure activities and even working abroad.
