Find out more about disposal of personal care waste.

How CAPD disposal works

Your hospital will contact us to arrange collection of your CAPD waste.

We will then contact our clinical waste collector, Tradebe, who will collect your CAPD waste in specially provided bags.

What you need to do

To ensure your CAPD is collected, you must:

  1. fill your collection bag so it is no more than two-thirds full
  2. securely tie your collection bag
  3. ensure your waste is placed outside for collection by 7am every Monday.

Missed collections

Tradebe are unable to return for missed clinical waste collections.

If your Monday collection has been missed, you can report your missed collection by using our online form or by calling us on 01634 333 333.

Report a missed collection online

Please take your waste back in and present the following Monday by 7am.

Bank holiday collections

For bank holidays, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, Tradebe will contact you to arrange an alternative collection day.
