Business land and premises
With more than a dozen business parks, five town centres and
three council-managed workspaces for the growing business, Medway
hosts many prime locations for your business to call home. Based in
the Thames Gateway, travel to and from the capital is quick
and easy.
Isle of Grain
The Isle of Grain has been identified as an
important site for industrial and warehouse development in the
Thames Gateway Planning Framework; 385 hectares is available for
employment use.
Business parks
Medway holds many business parks, ranging in size and type of
unit. The business parks are conveniently located close to main
arterial routes and some offer access to the riverfront for easy
shipping in and out of the country.
Medway City Estate has its own social networking site to
encourage the community feel that has developed on many Medway
business parks.
Managed workspace
Medway Council has developed three managed workspace
locations:
The units cater to the needs of new and recently established
small businesses. The range of unit sizes is designed to provide
opportunities for the gradual expansion of businesses.
There is no VAT on rentals and rents start at a reduced rate
with an easy in, easy out approach, such as monthly rental and one
month notice to quit. Uniform Business Rates vary according to size
and type of unit.
