Rochester Riverside walk
The walk runs between Doust Way and Cory's Creek, a total
of 1 mile (1.6km) and is graded as easy.
It is suitable for children, wheelchair-users and dog walkers
and there is access for pedestrians and cyclists only.
Although it is a temporary walk, it consists of a 10m width of
tarmac with a safety handrail along the length of the river
wall.
This provides a barrier between the walk and the river without
spoiling the views.
The three entry points are at:
- Cory's Road/Gas House Road;
- Blue Boar Lane;
- Doust Way.

The public has access to the path but not the adjoining land, by
permission of Medway Council.
Pedestrians and cyclists can use the riverside path at their own
risk and the council can close the path at any time without
warning.
If you use the path, please take your litter home and do not
allow your dogs to foul the path or adjoining land.
Swimming is strictly forbidden.
Please note that Castle View Business Centre and Acorn Shipyard
continue to trade as usual.
