Rochester Riverside walk

The walk runs between Doust Way and Cory's Creek, a total of 1 mile (1.6km) and is graded as easy.

It is suitable for children, wheelchair-users and dog walkers and there is access for pedestrians and cyclists only.

Although it is a temporary walk, it consists of a 10m width of tarmac with a safety handrail along the length of the river wall.

This provides a barrier between the walk and the river without spoiling the views.

The three entry points are at:

  • Cory's Road/Gas House Road;
  • Blue Boar Lane;
  • Doust Way.
