Medway is strategically located at the heart of the Thames Gateway and close to north-west Europe, right on the high-speed rail link with cities like Lille and Brussels.

The town centres of Medway are remarkable for their individuality. Separated by no more than three miles (4.82km) and just the width of the River Medway in the case of Rochester and Strood, they have developed distinct retail identities with complementary offers serving some 250,000 residents and attracting more than three million tourists who come to visit the area’s many heritage attractions and festivals each year.
