In line with Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005, we prepared a statement of the principles which came into effect on 31 January 2019.
We have approved the statement of the principles we propose to apply when we carry out our functions under the act.

Statement of Licensing Policy
The Licensing Act 2003 requires us, as the Licensing Authority, to determine and publish our Statement of Licensing Policy at least every five years, to keep it under review and make such revisions to it, as considered appropriate.
The policy has several aims and sets out how we approach our licensing responsibilities and aims to promote the four licensing objectives under the Licensing Act 2003.
