Community Safety Plan

The purpose of this plan is to set out how the public agencies in Medway, along with the voluntary and community sectors and local people themselves, can work together to:

  • reduce crime;
  • improve the quality of life of communities;
  • help young people, in particular those who may have drifted into a life of crime and involvement with the criminal justice system, to lead useful and satisfying lives.

2.      Improve The Local Street Scene

3.      Reduce Youth Offending

4.      Reduce Night Crime Economy Related Crime and Disorder

5.      Working With Vulnerable Victims To Reduce Harm and Repeat Victimisation

6.      Reduce Theft and Shop-lifting

7.      Reduce The Number Of People Killed Or Seriously Injured in Road Traffic Collisions
