Medway Drug and Alcohol service providers 2011/12
KCA Drug Treatment Services
Kingsley House, 37-45 Balmoral Road, Gillingham, ME7 4PF
KCA offer a range of services to those affected by their own or
someone else’s drug misuse. Services include one to
one keyworking, group work, substitute prescribing and other
community interventions including pathways into inpatient
detoxification and residential rehabilitation. Services are
available from various satellite locations across Medway.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday (office hours) 9am – 5pm
Out of hours services are also available at satellite locations.
Appointments outside of office hours are also available upon
request.

KMPT Alcohol Services
Block A, Medway Maritime Hospital, Windmill Road, Gillingham,
ME7 5NY
KMPT offer a range of services to those affected by their own or
some one else’s alcohol misuse. Services include one to
one keyworking, group work and other community interventions
including pathways into inpatient detoxification and residential
rehabilitation. Services are available from various satellite
locations across Medway.

CRi Drug Intervention Programme (DIP)
2nd Floor, Green Street, Gillingham, ME7 1AE
The drug intervention programme (DIP) involves criminal justice
and treatment agencies working together with other services to
provide a tailored solution for adult Class A drug users, who are
currently involved in the criminal justice system, pre or post
sentence, on a voluntary referral basis.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday (office hours) 9am –
5pm
Appointments outside of office hours are also available upon
request.

KCA Young Peoples Services

KCA YP Services offer a range of services to young people
affected by their own or some one else’s drug or alcohol misuse.
Services include 1:1 confidential advice, information and support
about alcohol and drugs.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday (office hours) 9am – 5pm
Appointments outside of office hours are also available upon
request.

Service user involvement
MUST(Medway Users Standing Tall) is a peer led group offering
support to current, ex and potential users of substance misuse
services and their families/partners. Services available include
help to access training and voluntary work, information and advice
