Home-Start Medway

Home-Start Medway (www.home-startmedway.org.uk) is a voluntary organisation supporting families with at least one child under the age of five. Volunteers offer informal, friendly and confidential support. It recruits and trains volunteers from all areas of Medway.

Do you possess:

  • parenting experience;
  • a listening ear;
  • spare time;
  • enthusiasm;
  • a desire to make a difference?

Can you offer weekly support, friendship and encouragement to one or two families in your community? Then you could be just the person Home-Start Medway is looking for.

Maybe your skills, gained professionally, could be put to good use by joining the Management Board, which meets once a month to oversee the running of the scheme, including staff, policy and financial matters.

Home-Start Medway is registered charity number 1108057.
