Medway Older People's Partnership (MOPP)

The Medway Older People’s Partnership (MOPP) was established in June 2002. It started initially as an informal partnership after a discussion between a group of like-minded people. They identified that there was a need to improve the lives of older people locally by bringing them together with care providers. This was developed into a formal board with an adopted constitution. The organisation is currently waiting confirmation as a registered charity.

MOPP aims to share information and resources with both voluntary and statutory groups working with older people, bringing these groups together, to share and to highlight areas of need and concern. This way, resources can be put to best use, a strategic vision can be promoted and a voice given to older people in Medway.

MOPP works with older people and the organisations that represent them in Medway to fulfil their needs and aspirations.
