Protocol for working with the Medway Local Involvement Network

The Medway Local Involvement Network (www.themedwaylink.org.uk/) (LINk) has been set up to give the local community a stronger voice in how their health and social care services are delivered. The LINk is an independent network of local people and groups and aims to find out what people want, to investigate issues and use their powers to hold services to account.

The LINk and Medway's Overview and Scrutiny Committees have distinct but complementary roles. A protocol (pdf 77KB) has been agreed to ensure that the two work together effectively to achieve positive health outcomes for Medway residents.
