Paying your bill
These are the different ways that you can pay your bill:
Direct debit
Medway Council strongly recommends the use of direct debit.
There are a number of advantages:
- it saves you time – you no longer have to
queue or write out cheques;
- it saves you money – there are no stamps to
buy and no specific charges for the service;
- it gives you peace of mind – your instalments
are paid regularly by the due date;
- lower administration costs – the council’s
handling costs are reduced, which in turn helps to keep the council
tax for the area as low as possible;
- you are protected against errors – you are
guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your bank if an error
is made.
