Chatham Contact Point moves home

If you want to speak with someone about council services in person you now need to go to one of two Photo of Chatham contact point exterior

buildings depending on the advice or support you need. 

Riverside One

This building, opposite The Brook, previously known as Chatham Contact Point is now called Riverside One and is the place to go if you need help in person with any of the following:

  • Housing
  • Council Tax and Business Rates
  • Housing Benefits and Council Tax Benefits
  • Client Financial Affairs

Opening Times

Riverside One is open at the following times:

  • Monday 8.30am-5.15pm
  • Tuesday 8.30am-5.15pm
  • Wednesday 8.30am-5.15pm
  • Thursday 8.30am-5.15pm
  • Friday 8.30am-4.45pm
  • Saturday - closed

Chatham Community Hub

Residents can access other services around the corner in the building already used by Chatham Library on Chatham Riverside creating Medway's newest community hub.

Chatham Community Hub continues to offer library services but will also offer information and support on a range of services, including:

  • Recycling, waste and street cleaning
  • Roads and street lighting and
  • Community Safety

Opening times

The new Chatham Contact Point at the Chatham Community Hub is open at these times:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 9am-5pm
  • Tuesday  10am-5pm
  • Saturday 9am-1pm

Chatham Library

The library is open at the following times:

Monday, Wednesday and Fridays - 9am-6pm

Tuesday - 10am-7pm

Thursday - 9am-7pm

Saturday - 9am-5pm
