Other school building projects

The School Organisation team is currently overseeing a range of building projects throughout Medway's Primary and Secondary Schools as part of the Schools Capital Programme.Photo of Lordswood School internal playspace

The programme involves significant investment in schools to promote achievement and wellbeing for all young people in Medway and the communities in which schools exist. These developments will also contribute to the physical and social regeneration of areas of Medway.

The school buildings at All Faiths', Strood; Napier Primary, Gillingham; Oaklands School, Chatham; Thames View School, Gillingham; Lordswood School, Chatham; Twydall School, Gillingham; Elaine Primary, Strood; Sir Joseph Williamson Maths School, Rochester and Walderslade Primary, Chatham will all be improved as part of the Capital Programme 2011/12.

Three of the projects Walderslade Primary, Lordswood School and Thames View are complete and the other schools projects are currently in the process of being delivered with the exception of Twydall and Elaine which are due to start in the next couple of months.

Current and completed projects

Robert Napier Sixth Form building; Lordswood School amalgamation project; Riverside ASD unit; Thames View amalgamation project; SJW Maths School Design Technology block.
