School Contracts Team
Medway Council's School Contracts Team has been working hard
over the years to
- improve dining areas in schools;
- provide new kitchen equipment;
- support, advise and project manage schools in upgrading school
kitchens;
- offer nutritional advice;
- design training sessions to support school cooks in producing
healthier menus
- ensure children receive healthy school meals that are good
value for money by working with catering management teams and in
partnership with Chartwells, the council's main school catering
contractor.

Area for contact: Booking of and enquiries for food training
courses and enquiries regarding menus and nutritional analysis.
Jacqueline Payne, Contracts Administration Assistant
Area for contact: Enquiries regarding Free School Meal figures,
invoices, payments, school waste and recycling collections, daily
school enquiries.
Roopam Anand, Contracts Assistant
Area for contact: Enquiries regarding school waste and recycling
collections, daily school enquiries, diary management, contract
issues.
