Secondary school meals

Most secondary schools also have a cash cafeteria arrangement where pupils can choose from many new healthy food options. With the arrival of the new food standards, some schools have introduced meal deals in an attempt to encourage children to eat a more balanced combination of foods.

The current charge for a standard school meal is £2.15.

These are the menus provided by Chartwells, the council's catering contractor for secondary schools:
