Children and Young People's Plan

Medway Children's Trust wants children and young people in Medway who:

  • are safe and cared for;
  • succeed in learning;
  • thrive.

It is these three outcomes that the members of Medway Children's Trust will collectively seek to achieve and the Children and Young People's Plan 2009 to 2011 (pdf 946KB) is the Trust's promise to deliver. The Plan is the single, strategic, overarching plan for all services in Medway that affect children and young people, jointly agreed and endorsed by all partners within the Trust.

A children and young people's version of the plan (pdf 909KB) and the latest Review of the Children and Young People's Plan (pdf 2,000KB) is also available.

To use these files you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have it on your computer, please use our advice page.

The plan is for and on behalf of children and the council hopes it is user-friendly and understandable. It is not a technical document but rather a vision and an outline of the council's priorities for children living in or visiting Medway.

Please note that although the plan and links contained within it were correct at the time of publication, there may be some links that no longer work. If you need any specific information, please use the contact details below. You can also ask for a paper copy of the plan.
