Interested in music, motorbikes or cookery? The CYC project offers workshops on these subjects for young people aged 11 to 19, in Gillingham, Chatham and Strood.

New Streetdance and Breaking Crew

As part of the CYC project we are setting up a new streetdance and breaking collective and crew.  Auditions will be at Woodlands Youth Centre on the 12th January from 10:30 - 230pm.  Once formed the group will have the opportunity to take part in workshops, masterclasses, events and performances as well as performing at the R'enc Arts Hip Hop festival in Brittany, France in April 2014.  Email:  karen.self@medway.gov.uk for information.

Young girl dancingThe Arts Team organises workshops for under 18s during all the major school holidays. They include dance, drama, music, vocals, art and craft, plus special family activities to which parents can accompany younger children.


Loop Dance Company, Kent's leading dance company, is based at The Brook Theatre, Chatham and offers weekly classes.
