How to find Capstone Farm Country Park

From Maidstone:

  • Join the A229 and go up Bluebell Hill.
  • Join M2 at junction 3 and head towards Canterbury.
  • Leave M2 at junction 4 and head towards Hempstead (A278).
  • At roundabout, turn left towards Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre (Sharstead Way).
  • At next roundabout, turn right on to Hempstead Valley Drive. Continue straight over several mini-roundabouts.
  • Hempstead Valley Drive becomes Pear Tree Lane. Road curves around and goes downhill.
  • At the bottom of the hill there is a roundabout – look out for the brown tourist sign. Turn hard left at this roundabout, which will bring you out on to Capstone Road.
  • Capstone Farm Country Park is approximately 400 metres along the road on your right.

From Chatham:

  • Join A2 and head towards Gillingham and Rainham.
  • Look out for brown tourist signs.
  • Turn right into Ash Tree Lane and go down the hill.
  • At roundabout at the bottom of the hill, take the first exit.
  • At the next roundabout, take the second exit – look out for the brown tourist sign. This brings you on to Capstone Road.
  • Capstone Farm Country Park is approximately 400 metres along the road on your right.
