Greenspace Services manage and enhance more than 100 amenity spaces, which include:

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of Greenspace Services include:

delivery of a programme of Greenspace Development Projects and the Medway Wildlife, Countryside and Open Spaces Strategy;
inspection of parks by a ranger team;
management of grounds maintenance contract;
management of council tree stock through a specialist tree section;
compliance with established service standards;
supporting opportunities for volunteering activities and the development of Friends Groups;
delivery of education, events and activities across the Greenspace estate; and
management of a memorial bench and tree scheme.
