To use these files you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do
not have it on your computer, please use our advice page.
Staff and students then deposit Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in the designated WEEE bank at your
school and at the end, we calculate it by kilogram’s per head,
making it fair for all schools, no matter how big or small.
Keep an eye out for a list of schools who are
taking part, including how much they have recycled and who's in the
lead.
Both local and national coverage for WEEE is
increasing, and is helped by the production of a TV advert, created
by SWEEEP around Christmas time, which can be seen at www.weeeconnect.co.uk.
There are lots of other places you can go for
more information WEEE, like www.recyclenow.com, to find
out what electrical equipment can be recycled and where
your nearest recycling point is.
