Funding

When applying for funding, the more preparation work an applicant does at the begining, the better the chance of success.

While it cannot be guaranteed that they will obtain funding, the advice and suggestions on these pages have been provided to help them identify funding opportunities and prepare as strong a case for support as possible.

External sources of funding help Medway Council develop services to meet the needs of its clients better and to do things that could not otherwise be achieved. Working with partners in the private, voluntary and community sectors is important. The Corporate Funding Unit promotes effective links between the council and these sectors where partnership projects, joint working and bidding opportunities meet the council's priorities.
