Medway Council has a dedicated Neighbourhood Management team.
This is made up of a Tenancy Services Manager with three
neighbourhood housing officers and an Income Manager with three
income officers, plus two dedicated welfare reform officers.
Each neighbourhood housing officer manages a specific area. It
is their role to:
If you rent your home from Medway Council, your neighbourhood
housing officer will be a valuable contact and will be able to help
you with any questions or problems you may have about your home.
Neighbourhood housing officers are based at Gun Wharf in Chatham.
This office is not open to the public, so if you need to see your
housing officer, you will need to make an appointment or catch them
when they are visiting your area.

You can contact a member of the Housing Management team Monday
to Friday, 8.30am to 4.45pm, excluding bank holidays.
If your housing officer is not available, there will be a duty
officer available to talk to. If they cannot assist you,
they will be able to leave a message for your housing officer
and they will get back to you on their return to the office. You
