Medway Council encourages innovation, supports new and existing businesses that want to grow and helps those planning to move to Medway.
One of the ways it does this is by directing businesses to funding sources and financial advice.

Council assistance
Partners for Growth Partners for Growth (PFG) is an interest-free loan scheme operated by the council to help established small and medium-sized companies in Medway to expand. Designed to provide essential gap funding to pursue a growth opportunity, the scheme combines an interest-free loan, which has a six-month repayment holiday, with free expert advice. Typically, the scheme lends £10,000 to £15,000 per approved application. The scheme's objective is to increase the competitiveness of Medway businesses by creating new opportunities for companies to grow. Download the application form (pdf 145KB).
Medway Business Awards (www.mbawards.co.uk) The awards, now in their 25th year, have become Medway’s premier business accolade. They offer the opportunity for a business to stand out and to gain recognition for the hard work and innovation shown by its managers and employees.
