Statement of Gambling Policy

In accordance with Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005, Medway Council prepared and approved a statement of the principles it proposes to apply in exercising its functions under the Act.

In accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (England and Wales) Regulations 2006, notice is now given that the statement was approved by the council on 7 December 2006 and published on 31 December 2006.

The Medway Council Statement of Gambling Policy came into effect on 31 January 2007.
