Door supervisors

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is responsible for the licensing of the private security industry, which includes door supervisors.

Door supervisors must be registered with the SIA. Further details of how to get a licence, criminal record checks, recognised training etc. are available from the SIA's website (www.the-sia.org.uk/home/licensing/door_supervision/door_supervision.htm).
