Strood Market is held every Tuesday and Saturday at Commercial Road car park from 8am to 3pm.

You can find:

  • bread and cakes;
  • bags;
  • CDs;
  • fruit and vegetables;
  • food and accessories for pets;
  • socks;
  • watches;
  • seafood;
  • cards and stationery;
  • meat;
  • plants and flowers;
  • toiletries;
  • shoes;
  • ladies and men’s fashions and much more...

Parking

As Commercial Road car park will be closed on market days, the following car parks should be used instead:

1 Temple

2 Grove Road

3 Civic Centre (Saturday only)

4 Retail Park (two-hour stay)

5 Friary Place (limited)

6 Canal Road

Disabled parking

Commercial Road car park will have parking spaces available for disabled people.

Recycling

Recycling bins are also available at Tesco and the Civic Centre and will be coming soon to Morrisons.
