It is possible to apply by either writing a letter of application or using the links below to complete an application form, which can then be printed off and sent in with a cheque or postal order, which should be made payable to “Medway Council”.
Information on fees is given on the fees page but as the amount payable is determined by how recently the registration was made, please contact the Register Office by email or by telephone if there is any doubt as to how much to send.
If applying by letter or making an enquiry about the fee, please give:
- the name(s) of the person(s) to whom the certificate relates;
- the date of the event;
- where the event took place.
It is also helpful to include a daytime telephone number.
Please allow seven days for a certificate to be sent, although we aim to issue sooner. If one is needed urgently, please contact the Register Office for more precise information about the current issue times on 01634 338902.
