It is possible to apply by either writing a letter of application or using the links below to complete an application form, which can then be printed off and sent in with a cheque or postal order, which should be made payable to “Medway Council”.
Information on fees and how to pay is also available on this website. As the fees may vary, please contact the Register Office by email or by telephone if there is any doubt as to how much to send.
If applying by letter or making an enquiry about the fee, please give:
- the name(s) of the person(s) to whom the certificate relates,
- the date of the event,
- where the event took place.
It is also helpful to include a daytime telephone number.
Please allow 10 working days for a certificate to be sent. If one is needed urgently, please use the priority applications service run by the General Register Office.
