Certificates Fee (£)
Full birth, death and marriage certificates issued by a Superintendent Registrar from a completed register 7
Short birth certificates issued by a Superintendent Registrar from a completed register 5.50
All birth, death and marriage certificates issued by a Registrar from a current register 3.50
Certificates from recent registrations are likely to be issued by a Registrar. For information about whether a certificate will be issued by a Registrar or a Superintendent Registrar, please contact the Register Office

General search fee - to search births, deaths and marriage indexes personally at the Register Office 18.00
Wedding fees  
To give notice of intention to marry (per person). This is payable for all non-Church of England weddings, whether religious or civil 30
In addition to all of the following wedding fees, there is a fee payable for a marriage certificate 3.50

(The following charges include a non-refundable room reservation fee of £50)

Register Office  
The Register Office is suitable for small wedding parties and can accommodate the bride and groom and up to four guests  
The Register Office ceremony 40
Approved premises - venues which have been licenced for civil ceremonies  
(The following charges include a non-refundable ceremony administration fee of £100)

A further charge is likely to be made by the owners of the building for the use of the premises  
Marriage in the Church of England or Church in Wales  
Information about fees payable may be obtained from the vicar of the church in which you wish to marry  
Marriage in a religious building other than in the Church of England or Church in Wales  
If a religious building has an authorised person to register weddings, a Registrar will not need to be present. Otherwise there is a fee for a Registrar to attend. The trustees of the building may also charge additional fees  
Fee for a Registrar to attend 47
Civil partnership  
To give notice of intention to register a civil partnership, per person 30
To register a civil partnership in the Register Office 40
To register a civil partnership in the Ingleside Suite, the Library Room, Eastgate House or at an approved premises, the fees are those listed above for weddings
