The Sunlight Centre (www.sunlighttrust.org.uk)
Local people are involved in the running and management of the Centre and the staff are dedicated to providing people with services that they have said they want. The ICT facilities are open to all and the staff want people to get as much out of the facilities as they can.
The Centre accommodates and supports:
- all of the noise of its youth clubs,
- the peace and calmness of relaxation sessions,
- job searchers searching,
- those who want to spin out to jazz and organise a live jazz night,
- anyone who just fancies a fresh brew,
- kung-fu kicks,
- parent and toddler groups screaming with laughter.
The Centre is proud of its ICT facilities that provide free basic training and access to the web. It can provide formal computer training or some friendly help in getting an email account. Anyone who is already a whizz on the net can drop in anytime for free access.
With its range of software applications, you’ll soon be re-designing your garden, trying out new hair styles, puzzling over quizzes, touching up your digital photos or mixing the next number one.
Tell the staff what you want…they will do it if they can and tell you why if they can’t.
Opening times
9.30am–8pm.
