This is a non-political organisation providing religious, educational, social and welfare information and facilities to Muslims in Medway and Kent.
The Association aims to provide coherence for a community which consists of many races, guidance and citizenship advice to young people and services to women, older people, public bodies and the media.
It liaises with organisations such as schools, interfaith organisations, health services, the police, fire brigade, the Crown Prosecution Service and the prison service to deliver Islamic education and awareness training and to discuss issues which may affect the Muslim community living in Kent.
Kent Muslim Welfare Association is a registered charity, number 272836.
