Councillors' Code of Conduct

All members of the council, co-opted members with voting rights and parent governor representatives are required to agree to abide by this Code of Conduct, which is based on a model approved by Parliament and can be found in chapter five of the council's constitution.

To find out how to complain about a member breaking any part of the council's Code of Conduct, visit the website maintained by the Standards Board for England (www.standardsboard.co.uk).

In addition to signing to accept the Code of Conduct, members must make a return of financial and other interests to the council's Monitoring Officer.
