Home Office www.homeoffice.gov.uk The Home Office is the government department responsible for internal affairs in England and Wales. It works to build a safe, just and tolerant society, to enhance opportunities for all and to ensure the protection and security of the public is maintained.
Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) www.odpm.gov.uk The office is responsible for policy on housing, planning, devolution, regional and local government and the fire service. It also takes responsibility for the Social Exclusion Unit, the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit and the Government Offices for the Regions.
