Medway Council employs around 7,000 people in a wide variety of general and specialist roles. Most of them are based at the new corporate headquarters at Gun Wharf in Chatham, although a substantial number of staff continues to work in schools, social services centres and leisure, countryside, heritage and arts centres across Medway.
