Cozenton Nursery is Medway Council’s nursery, based in Cozenton Park, Rainham. Every year, 175,000 high quality bedding and decorative plants are produced for the council, demonstration gardens are hosted and Medway’s successful Garden Festival is held.
Free training opportunities
There are places available on a National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) 1 horticultural training course which is jointly funded by the European Social Fund and JobCentreplus. It offers unemployed people the opportunity to develop new skills and move into employment. If you are interested in becoming a student on the course, the council would like to hear from you. The council would also like to hear from horticultural businesses that can provide work placements for the students on the course.
All courses are validated and internally verified by Hadlow College - one of the top three colleges of its type in the UK for success and achievement.
