If you are seeking help and advice on quitting smoking, try the steps below:



  • Step 1: Get ready
    Get yourself into a confident and determined state of mind. Think about everything you have to gain by going smokefree.
  • Step 2: Make a plan
    You can get free nicotine replacement therapy when you join a group. Joining a group course gives you the best possible chance of success.
  • Step 3: Go smokefree
    All you need to do now is take the plunge and stop smoking for good. To sign up to the group course, call the Medway Stop Smoking Service on 0800 2346805.
  • Step 4: Keep going
    Feel proud of yourself for making the choice to go smokefree. The group will tell you ways of staying motivated and in control.
