Events and activities

The staff and facilities of Greenspace Services provides a wide range of opportunities to access, learn about and help manage sites.

Throughout the year the staff run events for both children and adults, ranging from the annual Countryside Experience at Riverside Country Park to children's activity sessions and guided walks.

Community engagement and participation is crucial to successful management of parks and countryside areas. Greenspace Services works with a wide range of volunteer groups either to tackle site management issues, to run community events or to undertake practical site management works.

Both Riverside and Capstone Farm Country Parks run education activities for schools and colleges. Activities are linked to the national curriculum but if you have particular requirements please contact the parks to discuss subject areas you would like to cover.

Riverside and Capstone Farm both have classroom facilities and field spaces which are available for hire for private functions, meetings and events.

Please complete a form detailing your requirements or call the parks.
