The council’s blue box and bag collection service picks up recycling from homes in Medway every fortnight on the same day of the week as rubbish for landfill is collected. Use this link to find out which day your collection is on.
To help you recycle more, you will now receive blue bags for recycling every 13 weeks. If you need more blue bags they can be collected from council contact points.
Please put your recycling out in your blue box or bags by 7am on your usual recycling collection day. Rubbish that can’t be recycled should be put out in black sacks on your usual rubbish collection day.
You will not receive any more black sacks and will need to buy these yourself from local shops.
