Transport planning

Medway Council is required by the Department for Transport (DfT) to review progress in implementing the second Local Transport Plan (LTP2). The Delivery Report reviews progress from the start of LTP2 in April 2006 until March 2008.

The report also considers the remainder of the LTP2 period from April 2008 to March 2011 to identify any risks associated with achieving the LTP2 targets and discusses strategic themes that will continue beyond 2011.

A draft LTP Delivery Report was published for consultation and comment in July 2008. This period of consultation has now closed, and Medway Council is grateful for all the comments it received.

The final Delivery Report will be submitted to the Government Office for the South East (GOSE) in November 2008 and will be published on this page in due course.
