Local Transport Plan 3

2011-26 plan is currently in development and due to come into effect in 2011. The draft document is now available.

As we near the end of the current Local Transport Plan (LTP2), Medway Council has started to develop the third Local Transport Plan (LTP3). Previously only a five-year document, this LTP will cover a 15-year period.

LTP3 will have two parts:

  • a long-term policy and strategy document entitled Medway Transport Strategy, which will run until 2026;
  • a shorter term implementation plan that will cover successive three-year periods throughout the strategy period.

Download the provisional Medway Local Transport Plan 3 (pdf, 6,533KB). To use this and the other pdf files on this page you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not have this on your computer, please use our advice page.

The public can view the provisional document in all Medway libraries. Please note that, due to a printing error, it does not state 'provisional' on the front cover. The final LTP3 will be published by April 2011.

LTP consultation: July-September 2010

A 12-week period period of public consultation will run from July to September.

LTP online survey now available to complete

We need your views on the different transport priorities over the next 15 years for Medway, and how we will achieve them. We are also interested in your views on how you currently see Medway's current transport system.

Please visit www.surveymonkey.com/s/ltp3survey to complete the survey.
