Private sector housing

Medway Council aims to work with private property owners to eliminate unsafe and unhealthy living conditions. Its private sector housing service has re-focused its efforts to improve housing in Medway from looking at fitness for habitation to looking at hazards within a dwelling, judging the hazards on the probability of an accident happening and the possible harm that might result from that accident.
