Lifelong Learning Centre

The Centre has two small computer suites where people can just drop in and use a computer. After an initial registration fee of £5, access is free (including access to the internet). There will be someone on hand to help with getting started, learning how to use the the software and people to get you out of trouble.

The Centre is currently open 9am to 4pm, term-time only.

There are suitable courses for:

  • complete beginners;
  • advanced users wanting to extend their skills;
  • people who need to learn about computers for work, whether they need a qualification or not;
  • people who simply want to learn for leisure.

For people aged 16-18 years, over 60 or getting a means-tested benefit there are tuition fee concessions – some courses are even free.

Details of the adult learning courses on offer are available on this website and you can call at the Centre’s reception desk or telephone 01634 338400.
