Resources

Schools should be aware that there are many places where they can examine or borrow resources before investing money and they should try before they buy. The council's collection is held at the address at the foot of this page. Please use the contact details there for more details. The resources listed below are intended for use by staff in Medway schools and include downloads in Microsoft Word format that you may not be able to open.

• Canterbury Christchurch University (www.canterbury.ac.uk/education/ppss/subjects/mfl.asp) has an extensive collection which can be studied.
• Barnsole Junior School (www.barnsole-jun.medway.sch.uk) has a well-stocked resource room which can be visited by appointment.
• Chatham Grammar School for Boys (CGSB) Language College (www.cgsb.co.uk) can often recommend a resource.
• The National Centre for Languages (www.primarylanguages.org.uk/resources.aspx) holds a central collection in London that can be studied at any time.
• Online teaching resources (Word 53KB).
• Online strategic resources (Word 39KB).
