Summer schools for gifted and talented children

Each year Medway Council runs a series of 10-day summer schools for groups of up to 30 gifted and talented pupils from Years 6 to 11.

Pupils attending summer schools will:

  • help to plan the two-week summer activities;
  • take part in masterclasses;
  • have opportunities for visits to theatres, museums, galleries and other places of interest;
  • be eligible for certification on successful completion of the summer school;
  • meet other like-minded people;
  • work with new tutors;
  • learn at a deeper level;
  • have fun;
  • make many new friends.
