Exhibitions and events programme at MALSC

Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre (MALSC) has a number of exhibitions and events throughout the year. Entry to all exhibitions is free. Admission to talks and presentations costs £4 (£3 for Friends of Medway Archives (FOMA) members). For further information and to book tickets for the events, please contact the Studies Centre using the information at the foot of this page.

Unless otherwise stated, all exhibitions and events take place at the centre. You can visit the exhibitions during the centre's normal opening hours.

4 February - 30 March Exhibition: Temple School, Strood: snapshots of school life 1936 - 1960.

Course: Family history course for beginners, run by the Medway branch of the Kent Family History Society. £7.50.
1 April - 1 June Exhibition: Bricks, mortar and breeze blocks: how to research the history of your house.
20 April 7.30pm at Chatham Library Talk: Family history and the media by Dr. Nick Barratt.

3 June - 3 August
Exhibition:
History of Frindsbury Cricket Club: Centenary exhibition.

7 July 2.30pm
Talk:
Presenting and representing the Lower Medway Valley by Dr. Andrew Hann.

5 August - 5 October
Exhibition:
The Battle of Britain: 70th anniversary.

7 October - 30 November
Exhibition:
Roll out the red carpet: Royal visits to Medway.
