Contemporary art exhibitions can be found throughout Medway.
Rochester Art Gallery and Craft Case have offered a balanced and diverse programme of contemporary visual arts and crafts with local, regional, national and international significance in six exhibitions annually for a number of years.
Art on the move
Medway Council's Arts Development Team re-located Rochester Art Gallery and Craft Case in spring 2009, moving them to a newly-refurbished and fully accessible space on the ground floor of Medway Visitor Information Centre. The new space features bespoke gallery furniture and craft cases, commissioned from Chatham-based furniture designer Andrew Lapthorn.
If you are interested in exhibiting in the gallery or craft case, please contact Medway Council Arts Team using the contact details at the foot of the page to ask for an application form.
Exhibitions on local history can be found at the Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre and the Guildhall Museum.
