Train

Rochester station is only a five-minute walk from Rochester High Street and has excellent links between London and the coast. Find out more about planning your journey by train.

Car parking

Limited car parking is available near the centre of Rochester. Please note that car parking restrictions will apply and this information is displayed at each car park. Free car parking is available at the Civic Centre, Strood, throughout the festival and is only a short walk away.

Park and ride

A free park and ride service will operate from Mid-Kent College, Horsted site on the A229 and Chapter School in Strood on the A2 (location map of school). Buses will run from 9am and the last bus will leave Rochester at 7pm on Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. Each site will have a designated vehicle that will accommodate wheelchairs and disabled passengers. This bus will be clearly indicated on each site's bus timetable. Priority will be given to wheelchair users on this vehicle.

Additional car parking has been arranged at Jackson’s Field, City Way, Rochester(weather permitting).

Coach parking

All coaches visiting this event will park at Acorn Wharf Coach Park in Rochester – free of charge. A booking system is in place. To request a booking form, please contact the Visitor Information Centre using the details below.

During the festival, coaches may use the coach setting down and pick-up point located at the rear of the Visitor Information Centre (indicated on the festival map as number 11) but drivers must adhere to the 15-minute unloading and loading waiting restriction.
