Laying out the equipment

People hiring the hall should let the Halls Attendant know, approximately a week before the function, how they want the room laid out and the tables and chairs will be set out out ready for them.

The hirer must take responsibility for any decorations they wish to put up in the hall.

Getting into and out of the building

The building will be staffed throughout the time specified on the booking sheet. Staff will arrive approximately 30 minutes before the function. The latest finishing time for a booking is midnight, which means the bar (if one has been booked) must close at 11.30pm, the music must stop by 11.45pm and all the guests must leave by midnight. The hirer then has half an hour to clear away belongings.

Cleaning up afterwards

Hirers should remove all the food from the hall and any personal belongings or decorations they wish to keep. The Halls Attendants will clear up everything else.

How to book

The centre can be hired on:

  • Monday to Saturday, between 8am and midnight;
  • Sunday between 8am and 10.30pm.
