Chattenden Community Centre

Chattenden Community Centre is suitable for:

  • parties;
  • wedding receptions;
  • social events;
  • meetings;
  • sports clubs;
  • training;
  • conferences;
  • music rehearsals;
  • dancing;
  • keeping fit.

Chattenden Community Centre has the following facilities:

  • a main and sports hall with a capacity of 150 people standing; 120 with tables;
  • a small community hall with a capacity 100 people standing; 80 with tables;
  • adaptable spaces, including confidential meeting rooms;
  • two separate kitchens, complete with a commercial cooker, fridge, kettles and an urn;
  • a car park with 14 spaces and plenty of free roadside parking;
  • toilets, including facilities for disabled people;
  • changing rooms;
  • tables and chairs;
  • stage blocks.

Other equipment needs can be requested.


Accessible and safe

The centre is accessible and user-friendly for people with disabilities.

It is safe, with enclosed grass areas and a courtyard.

It has a non-smoking policy; a healthy environment for children.


Current users include:

  • faith groups;
  • mother and toddler groups
  • a youth club;
  • a drama academy;
  • a housing association surgery;
  • language, literacy and numeracy classes.


Booking information

Booking rates start at £16.50 per hour.

These facilities are available to hire:

  • Monday to Saturday, 8am - midnight;
  • Sunday, 8 am - 10.30pm.
